Arc Raiders features advanced AI that controls the ARC robotic enemies. Understanding how the AI works gives you a tactical advantage.

AI Behaviors

• Patrol routes: ARC units follow set patrol paths. Learn them from the interactive map.
• Detection system: ARC detects via sight (line of sight) and sound (gunfire, footsteps). Crouching reduces detection range by 60%.
• Alert escalation: Detecting a player triggers alert for nearby units. Higher alert = more aggressive patrols.
• Reinforcement calls: Unsilenced weapons trigger reinforcement waves from nearby ARC spawn points.
• Boss AI: Sentinels, Matriarch, and other bosses have unique attack patterns with telegraphed moves.

Tips to Exploit the AI
