ARC Assessor Overview

The ARC Assessor is an unarmed ARC machine that descends from orbit on a powerful thruster system to collect air and soil samples. It’s an event-style objective rather than a roaming enemy — you don’t “kill” it, you breach its pylons against a timer while fending off the ARC it calls in.

How It Works

• Pylon sequence. Its pylons pump in a synchronized rhythm, cycling clockwise and extending a platform at each active pylon.
• It calls in ARC. The moment you first begin breaching a pylon, the Assessor emits a noise and spawns a swarm of aggravated ARC nearby — be ready to fight before you commit.
• 5-minute eject timer. If a pylon isn’t deactivated within five minutes of touchdown, its red beam blinks and the pylon ejects and launches into the sky — so don’t dawdle.

How to Breach It

• Target deployed pylons. A pylon is vulnerable to breaching only while its platform is extended. Fully breaching a pylon makes its platform permanent and deactivates that pylon.
• Survive the swarm. Since the first breach spawns aggravated ARC, clear or kite them while you work the pylons — bring crowd tools and don’t get pinned on a platform.
• Beat the clock. Deactivate pylons before the five-minute eject, working with the clockwise rhythm.
