Paving the Way is a path-clearing quest that opens up new routes through zones blocked by ARC barriers.

Objectives

1. Locate the ARC barrier (marked on map)
2. Find the 2 power cells needed to overload the barrier
3. Insert power cells and activate the overload
4. Clear the ARC defenders that respond
5. Explore the newly opened area

Tips

• Power cells are in nearby buildings — check within 100m of the barrier
• Overloading attracts 2 waves of ARC — prepare with good weapons
• The opened area has exclusive loot not found elsewhere in the zone
• Completing this quest opens permanent shortcuts on the map
