Vaporizer – Arc Raiders ARC Enemy Guide & How to Kill

Vaporizer Overview

The Vaporizer is a large, airborne ARC machine and a High-threat target with around 1,500 health. It rains down devastating lasers and protects itself with an energy shield, so it’s a fight about cover and timing rather than raw DPS. It’s typically deployed on high-importance encounters.

Attacks

• Laser beam. Sweeps a beam that leaves pools of burning fire wherever it touches — don’t stand in the aftermath.
• Energy shield. Deploys a shield that blocks all projectile damage. It’s triggered when you throw seeking/projectile grenades at it, and it runs on a cooldown.

Weak Points

• Underside panel. A small rectangular panel on its underbelly — shoot it off to expose the core.
• Exposed core. Once the panel is gone, the core underneath is the damage target.

How to Kill It

• Fight from cover. Get inside a building or behind substantial cover before engaging — the laser and fire pools punish open ground.
• Bait the shield, then burst. The shield blocks all projectiles, so force it up, wait for it to drop (cooldown), and dump high-damage or seeking weapons into the underside core in that window.
• Open the belly. Prioritise blowing off the underside panel so your damage lands on the core rather than armor.

Drops

Destroying a Vaporizer awards roughly 500 XP (plus ~600 for the chassis and ~500 for the thruster on scavenge). Its loot table includes:
