Photoelectric Cloak Overview
The Photoelectric Cloak is an Epic stealth gadget that conceals you from ARC machines. While it’s active, any ARC entity loses sight of you — even if it’s already engaged in combat with you — at the cost of being limited to a slow walk. It’s the premier tool for slipping past or resetting against machines.

How to Get the Photoelectric Cloak
- Craft it. At Utility Station 3: 2× Advanced Electrical Components + 4× Speaker Components.
- Project. 3× from the Trophy Display project (Stage 2), plus a copy from the Goalie deck.
- Scavenging. Also found in the world.
How to Use It Efficiently
Because activating the cloak immediately spends energy and the meter is shared across any cloaks you carry, longer single uses are more efficient than repeated short bursts. Pop it to break an active ARC engagement, cross an exposed area, or escape after a loud objective — then let the meter recharge before the next use. Remember the slow-walk limit: cloak to reposition, not to outrun anything.
