Buried City – Arc Raiders Map Guide | Loot, Extractions & POIs (2026)
Buried City Overview
Buried City is a once-thriving Italian city now half-buried in sand — a downtown area swallowed by dunes, with dense urban verticality, abundant cover, and some of the most reliable loot routes in Arc Raiders. The map is split into four broad regions: Outskirts, West Village, Old Town, and the New District. Loot density and PvP pressure both lean toward the southern half of the map.
If you’re new to Buried City, two things define a successful raid: knowing which Metro Station you’re extracting through, and respecting the verticality — ziplines, broken windows, and elevated dunes are how players move undetected.
Best Loot POIs
| POI | What’s There |
|---|---|
| Town Hall | Locked by a keycard. Old World loot and security lockers inside. |
| Space Travel | Multi-story commercial / technological loot. One of the densest single locations on the map. |
| Research Building | Similar profile to Space Travel but tilts toward healing items. |
| Hospital | Best on the map for healing items and rare blueprints. |
| Gallery | Concentrated Great Mullein plant spawns (~40 units). |
| Marano Park | Apricot spawns. Dangerous — high boss proximity. |
| Plaza Rosa | Pharmacy building. Steady recyclable loot. |
| Grandioso Apartments | Sellable loot. Watch for interior Pops and Fireballs. |
| Red Tower | Two weapon crate spawns. Quick stop on a route. |
| Piazza Arbusto | Pharmacy with attachment spawns. |
Extraction Points
All extractions on Buried City use Metro Stations, accessed via Metro Entrances marked on your map. There are four stations:
| Station | Best Entry | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Eastern Station | Piazza Arbusto entrance | Usually the easiest to reach. Default extraction for solo runs. |
| Northern Station | Hospital and Library entrances | Good loot proximity but the most camper-prone — clear angles before calling. |
| Western Station | Through Marano Park | Requires crossing ARC threats. Only worth it if your route already takes you west. |
| Southern Station | Southern entrances | Rarely used — the timer expires earlier than the others, so it’s risky to commit to. |
Whichever station you pick, sweep the entrance before pressing the call — Metro Entrances are the highest-camped chokepoints on the map.
ARC Enemy Distribution
Buried City is denser with ARC than its open-air maps. The southern regions in particular are heavy:
- Rocketeers — Hospital, Piazza Arbusto areas.
- Bombardiers — Old Town, Marano Park, and on the Parking Garage roof.
- Bastion — Marano Park, Old Town, and the Research perimeter.
- Pops & Fireballs — interior threats inside tall buildings (Grandioso Apartments is the textbook example).
If you’re not loadout-ready for big ARC, route around Marano Park — that’s the single most concentrated boss-tier zone on the map.
Recommended Solo Loot Route
A tested solo route that hits high-value POIs without forcing you through Marano Park or the Bombardier-heavy roof:
- Plaza Rosa — Pharmacy loot.
- Red Tower — Two weapon crate spawns, quick.
- Piazza Arbusto Pharmacy — Attachments.
- Town Hall or Space Travel — Whichever you have keycard or time for.
- Hospital — Healing and blueprints.
- Extract via Northern Station — Through the Hospital or Library entrance.
Total run time is short if you skip Town Hall and long if you commit to it. Both are valid — just don’t try to do everything in one raid; you’ll fill up and end up extracting under-stocked.
Tactical Notes
- Verticality is the map’s defining feature. Ziplines link rooftops, broken windows give sneaky entries, and dunes function as elevated sniper nests. If you’re playing it like a flat-ground extraction map, you’re missing half the routes.
- Tall buildings have interior threats. Don’t sprint through Grandioso Apartments — Pops and Fireballs love tight interiors. Slow your clear, listen.
- Cover is everywhere — use it. Long sightlines exist but are not the default. Most engagements happen at medium range with abundant cover; SMGs and ARs both work.
- Eastern Station is the safety default. If your loot is full and the raid is going sideways, fall back to Eastern via Piazza Arbusto.
