Dam Battlegrounds – Arc Raiders Zone Guide | Loot & Bosses

Dam Battlegrounds Overview

Dam Battlegrounds is a medium-to-hard expedition zone in Arc Raiders, centered around a massive hydroelectric dam. It offers some of the best weapon loot in the game.

Key Locations

Dam Control Room

Located inside the dam structure itself. Contains electronic components (Batteries) and data drives for quest objectives.

Boss: Matriarch

The Matriarch spawns at The Breach near the Power Generation Complex on Dam Battlegrounds. Pipeline Tower is the optimal fighting position — it provides natural cover that negates her missile barrages, making this the easiest version of the Matriarch fight in the game. See our full Matriarch Boss Guide for phases, weak points, and recommended loadout.

Notable Quest Objectives

The Old EMP Trap from the Straight Record quest (given by Celeste, requires Broken Monument prerequisite) lives in the Victory Ridge region of Dam Battlegrounds, between West Broken Bridge and Ruby Residence.
