The Free Loadout is a zero-cost equipment set available for every raid. You lose nothing if you die while using a Free Loadout.

When to Use Free Loadouts

• First 10-20 raids — Learn maps, enemy patterns, and extraction routes risk-free
• Learning new maps — Free to explore Stella Montis or Buried City without risk
• Quest completion — Focus on objectives without worrying about gear loss
• Broke? — Rebuild your finances with zero-risk runs

Free Loadout Contents

• Basic weapon (serviceable but not meta)
• Minimal healing supplies
• Small backpack

When to Stop Using Free Loadouts

After 20-30 successful extractions, once you understand the flow of raids, start bringing better equipment. The Looting Mk.1 augment (~800 Credits) is the first upgrade worth investing in.
