A First Foothold Quest Guide

A First Foothold is an early main quest that introduces you to establishing forward bases. One of the first quests new players encounter.

Objectives

1. Deploy to the designated zone
2. Clear the ARC presence from the foothold area
3. Activate the forward base terminal
4. Defend the base during the setup sequence (2 minutes)
5. Extract after the base is established

Tips

• This is an introductory quest — difficulty is low
• Any weapon works but the Anvil handles the defense phase well
• During the defense phase, ARC units attack in waves from two directions
• Position yourself with cover and watch both approaches
