Unexpected Initiative triggers when the ARC launches a sudden offensive during your expedition, adding urgency and bonus objectives.

Objectives

1. Survive the initial ARC assault wave
2. Locate and destroy the ARC command beacon
3. Prevent ARC from establishing a forward position (timed objective)
4. Extract before the zone is overrun

Tips

• This quest can trigger randomly during any expedition
• The command beacon is heavily guarded — bring AoE options
• Timer is tight (5 minutes) — move fast and prioritize the beacon
• The Torrent excels at clearing the waves around the beacon
• Completing before the timer gives significant bonus rewards
