Arc Raiders Raider Etiquette – Friendly Encounters & Community Rules
Raider Etiquette Guide
Arc Raiders has an unwritten code of conduct that veteran players follow. Understanding it will improve your experience.
The Friendly Wiggle
- Crouch-spam (rapidly crouch/stand) is the universal “I’m friendly” signal
- Combine with VOIP call: “Hey, I’m friendly”
- If the other player wiggles back, you are generally safe
Etiquette Rules
- Don’t shoot first as a beginner — you’ll lose most early PvP fights anyway
- Don’t camp extraction beacons — community considers this toxic
- Share loot calls — Ping valuable loot for squad fairness
- Revive downed teammates — Always revive when safe to do so
- Don’t grief — Intentional teamkilling or trolling gets reported
How ABM Rewards Friendliness
The aggression-based matchmaking system groups players by behavior. Being consistently non-aggressive puts you in friendlier lobbies with more cooperative players.
