Extraction Beacons Guide
Extraction beacons are how you leave a raid with your loot. Understanding them is critical for success.
How Beacons Work
- Approach a beacon location (fixed per map)
- Interact to activate (starts the countdown)
- Survive the timer (45-90 seconds depending on map)
- ARC enemies converge on active beacons
- Other players can see/hear active beacons
Beacon Types by Map
- Dam: Surface beacons (60-75 second timers)
- Buried City: Metro Station underground extractions
- Stella Montis: Hatches (underground escape routes)
- Spaceport: Launch pad extractions
Extraction Strategy
- Clear the area BEFORE activating
- Use smoke grenades during the timer
- Have a secondary weapon ready for close-range defense
- Choose less popular extraction points to avoid PvP
- In squads, one player defends while others stand on the beacon
