The Tempest is S++ tier. Here is the optimized build around it.

Patch 1.26.0 update: with the new durability scaling, run an epic or legendary Tempest if you have one. Common-tier weapons take +75% durability loss per shot; legendary takes -10% — meaningful for sustained PvP and boss farming.

Attachments

• Muzzle Brake 2 — Essential, tames the heavy recoil
• Angled Grip — Horizontal recoil auto-reduces at higher levels
• Extended Mag — More sustained fire
• Optic of choice (Red Dot for CQB-mid, Holo for mid-range)

Secondary

• Venator — Best overall. Dual-shot burst covers CQB.
• Bobcat — Alternative if you want a full SMG backup.

Augment

• Combat Mk.3 for PvP
• Looting Mk.1 for farming

Skills

• Mobility primary (stamina, speed)
• Conditioning secondary (combat effectiveness)
