Arc Raiders Patch 1.26.0 Notes

Arc Raiders Patch 1.26.0 Notes (April 28, 2026)

The Riven Tides update is the largest content drop since Stella Montis. It ships a new coastal map, the first airborne large ARC, a brand new minor map condition, the fourth Expedition Window, the start of Trials Season 4, a sweeping weapon-durability rework, and a free Arc Raiders remaster on top.

What’s New

Riven Tides Map

The sixth Arc Raiders map. Three named zones: Panorama Azzurro (multi-floor beachfront resort), the Exodus dockyard (Customs House, Stacking Yard, Port Authority, Docks), and the open coastline connecting them. Tidal cycle floods and drains low-lying areas on a fixed timer. Full breakdown in our Riven Tides Map Guide.

ARC Turbine (new boss)

The ARC Turbine is the first airborne large ARC — a flying boss with proximity mines, lightning-strike missiles, and homing missiles in its airborne defense kit. It’s vulnerable only during a brief landing phase when it sets down on three legs and exposes three spinning yellow canisters at its core. You get roughly 4–5 shots before it lifts off again.

Spawns after 15 minutes of match runtime on any map (not just Riven Tides), then patrols. Drops the Turbine Compressor required for the Avian Alarm Player Project. Full mechanics in our ARC Turbine Boss Guide.

Beachcombing (new minor map condition)

Exclusive to Riven Tides. High-value loot is buried under the sand on the abandoned shoreline; equip the Dockmaster’s Detector to spot dig sites via audio + visual cues. Three ways to get a Detector:

  • Complete Apollo’s Shoring Up Defenses quest
  • Finish Stage 1 of the Avian Alarm Player Project
  • Rare drop from Toolboxes / Industrial Crates

Last Resort event (April 28 – May 25, 2026)

Limited-time event. Collect five buried Ship Models (Wind Sprite, Twilight Compass, Velocity, Sirena Dorata, Leviathan’s Crown) and earn Merits via Beachcombing + cross-map XP. Rewards include the Junior Outfit, Hydrologist backpack, and Raider Tokens. Event ends May 25, 2026.

Avian Alarm (new Player Project)

Unlocks at level 20. Stage 1 rewards the Dockmaster’s Detector. Final stages require Turbine Compressors from ARC Turbine kills.

Expedition Window 4

Opens April 28 at 13:00 CEST / 11:00 UTC / 04:00 PT. 13-day signup window. Departure May 11, 2026 at 09:00 CEST. Updated UI: progress bar, catch-up info, late-departure option, countdown across all steps, step preview.

Trials Season 4

New season starts alongside the patch. Adds the Solare and Rachetta gear sets.

Weapon Balance

Durability Overhaul (the headline change)

The biggest meta shift in the patch. Weapon durability now scales by rarity:

Rarity Durability Loss Per Shot
Common +75%
Uncommon +50%
Rare +35%
Epic -5%
Legendary -10%
  • Average spawned weapon durability: 50 → 30. Floor-loot weapons are weaker out of the box.
  • Knockdown durability loss: -30% → -15%. Getting downed costs you less.
  • Repair on upgrade: +25% max durability restored when you upgrade a weapon.

Practical impact: rarity now matters for staying power, not just stats. Bring epic / legendary weapons for sustained fights — see our updated Weapon Durability Guide.

Bettina Buff (major)

The Bettina is the biggest individual winner of the patch. All four key stats moved in its favor:

  • Damage: 14 → 16
  • Fire-rate: 285 → 235
  • Dispersion: ~40% reduction
  • Dispersion recovery: ~30% improvement
  • Armor damage: +33%

The Bettina now competes with the Anvil as the top all-rounder and outperforms it against armored ARC enemies. See the Bettina build guide for the updated loadout.

Trigger ‘Nade Nerf

  • 1 second throw delay added
  • 1.3 second trigger delay added
  • You can no longer chain a new throw with a previous trigger

Spam builds are dead. Trigger ‘Nades are now a positional tool, not a stacking damage source.

Photoelectric Cloak Nerf

  • Weight: 1 → 3
  • Power consumption: 2.5/s → 10/s

Effective duration cut roughly fourfold. Stealth builds need to plan around shorter cloak windows or budget extra batteries.

Other Item Changes

  • Heavy Ammo stack: 40 → 60. More room to feed Osprey / Tempest / Hullcracker loadouts.
  • Vaporizer Regulator stack: 1 → 3.

New Items

  • Dockmaster’s Detector – equipment item that reveals buried Beachcombing loot
  • Powered Descender – new mobility tool
  • Crash Mat – new mobility / safety tool
  • White Flag – new social / signaling item
  • Tactical Mk.3 (Smoke variant) – new augment

Performance & Tech

  • Free Arc Raiders Remaster bundled with the update at no additional cost.
  • PSSR 2 (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution v2) added for PS5 Pro — sharper visuals and cleaner environments.

Known Issues at Launch

  • Crossplay is broken — Embark is working on a fix. Expect issues queueing across platforms with friends.
  • “On the Radar” quest can’t be completed on Riven Tides.
  • Leapers can jump through the ARC Turbine — don’t rely on Leaper body-blocks during the boss fight.
  • Firefly disappearance / grenade-drop bug reported.

Meta Impact

The headline takeaways for what to change in your raids today:

  • Run epic / legendary weapons when you have them. Durability scaling means a common-rarity rifle can break before a sustained fight ends.
  • Try the Bettina. The buff stack is large enough that it’s worth re-running your build with it as the primary. It now beats the Anvil on armored damage.
  • Drop Trigger ‘Nade spam loadouts. The chained-throw playstyle is gone — rebuild around positional grenades.
  • Re-test Photoelectric Cloak rotations. Either accept the shorter window or shift to a different stealth approach — see our stealth build guide.
  • Plan for the 15-minute mark. The ARC Turbine spawns on any map after 15 minutes of match time. If you’re farming Turbine Compressors for Avian Alarm, structure raids to survive past that window.
  • Hit the Beachcombing loot before the Last Resort event ends May 25. The Junior Outfit + Hydrologist backpack are time-limited.

For the live tier list factoring in all of these changes, see our Weapon Tier List.
