Arc Raiders Flashpoint Update

The Flashpoint update arrives on March 31, 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is the third major Escalation update, bringing a new ARC enemy, lightning map condition, Scrappy overhaul, and new cosmetics.

March 31, 2026 — available on all platforms simultaneously.

New Content

Lightning Map Condition

A new environmental modifier that creates dynamic lightning zones across maps. Lightning strikes can damage players and ARC units alike, creating chaotic combat situations. Expected to be more severe than the existing Electromagnetic Storm condition.

New ARC Threat

A brand-new enemy type is being added to the ARC roster. Details are being kept under wraps until launch. This will join existing threats like the Sentinel, Matriarch, and Queen.

Scrappy Overhaul

The companion rooster is getting significant updates including new resource types, expanded mechanics, visual customization, and improved AI behaviors.

New Player Project

A new Expedition Project with unique objectives and rewards tied to the Flashpoint content.

Wasp Shell Armor

A new cosmetic armor set crafted from ARC materials. Part of the Flashpoint cosmetics collection.

Patch 1.20.0 Changes (Pre-Flashpoint)

The March 17 patch made significant changes ahead of Flashpoint:

• Il Toro nerf: Major damage, fire rate, and reload nerfs
• Energy Clip value: Sell price reduced from 1,000 to 200 coins
• New cosmetics: Rawhide Outfit added
• Bug fixes: Multiple stability improvements

• Update your builds based on the Il Toro meta shift
• Stock up on healing supplies for the new lightning hazard
• Max your Scrappy before the overhaul hits
• Complete current Expedition Projects before new ones replace them
