Scrappy – Arc Raiders Companion Guide | Upgrades, Levels & Tips
Scrappy Companion Guide
Scrappy is your companion rooster in Arc Raiders who collects resources while you raid. Upgrading Scrappy increases the materials he brings back after each expedition.
How Scrappy Works
- Scrappy passively collects Metal Parts, Fabric, Plastic Parts, Chemicals, Rubber Parts, and Assorted Seeds while you are in a raid
- You must spend at least 1 minute in a raid to receive anything
- Maximum collection at 15+ minutes in raid
- Scrappy holds up to 50x of each item
- Bonus: If you fail a raid (die), Scrappy brings back double as a consolation prize
Scrappy Upgrade Levels
| Level | Materials Required |
|---|---|
| Level 2 | Dog Collar x1 |

Flashpoint Update Changes
The Flashpoint update (March 31) is overhauling Scrappy with new resource types, expanded mechanics, visual customization, and improved AI. Max your Scrappy before the update to benefit from any upgrade path changes.
Tips
- Always spend 15+ minutes per raid for max Scrappy collection
- Dying is not all bad — the double resource consolation makes failed raids worthwhile
- Prioritize upgrading Scrappy early — the resource income compounds over time
